Yoga & Meditation Retreat

Our Country Stay

Village House in Mecklenburgische Seenplatte

This time I invite you to stay in a village right in my neighbourhood in the heart of Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. It’s a cozy guest house established by a lovely couple and Berlin runaways, Lea and Auriel.

Over the past year I had the pleasure to get to know them a little better. It started with a cup of good coffee at their cafe and evolved into weekly yoga classes right there. Every week we transform their beautiful half-timbered (Fachwerk) cafe space into a yoga studio. While they are planning to build a dedicated yoga room in the rustic barn behind the house, the cafe space itself is already quite suitable: it’s spacious, light-filled and perfect for a small retreat.

And so, here I am inviting you to join me for a weekend of yoga, meditation, forest walks, lake swims and delicious food at a cozy and tastefully designed gasthaus in the village of Canow. This will be a very intimate autumn gathering with only up to 10 participants. Hope to see you there!

Practice and Teacher

Yoga with Marta

This yoga retreat is lead by me - Marta. Over the years, yoga has become an integral part of my life. I have a strong background in both technical and therapeutic aspects of yoga and meditation, and I’ve been sharing my passion for it through teaching for over ten years. When I’m not teaching, I love to go for long walks in the forest, hike up steep hills, or simply let myself float in a crystal clear lake. Feel free to read more about my path.

The autumn retreat is designed for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners. Each morning we’ll observe silence until breakfast to encourage a mindful presence right from the early waking hours. We’ll first sit together for meditation and then invite mindful movement through the practice of yoga. You’ll take time for yourself, going quietly through your morning routine and then meet us again to share a delicious breakfast and break the silence.

During the day, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the surroundings, swim, hike, take a canoe out or stay in and enjoy a good book. In the afternoons, we’ll meet for breathing, meditation and mindfulness practices. Then we’ll share a nourishing meal together, sit by the fire, watch the stars and enjoy each others’ presence.

Getting There

Planning Your Arrival

Our location is easy to access from Berlin. You can drive or take a train to Fürstenberg/Havel (one train every hour) or Rheinsberg and then either bike or take a taxi from the station. Our stay is about 20 km away from Fürstenberg and 12 km away from Rheinsberg. Sharing a ride or taxi with other participants is also a possibility. You will receive further instructions upon registration.
